List² (ListSquared) is a small program for creating lists or tables.
Features include:
- the ability to rename, insert, and delete columns
- insert and delete rows
- find and replace
- clipboard cut, copy, paste to and from cells
- export to html
- import and export csv
- import and export tab-delimited text
- printing with print preview
Bear in mind, List² is not a spreadsheet, and it is most definitely not Excel®. It is intended
for simple lists and tables -- nothing more.
The help menu provides information on basic operations.
Install
Step 1: Simply unzip the package and it should be ready to use.
Note: If you create a file and later want to double-click to open it and don't know how to do this,
under the file menu there's an option to do this association with the .lst files for you automatically.
Uninstall
Step 1: Delete file files you unzipped.
Note: there are some Windows registry entries created to store things like the window position,
and the entries needed if you used the option to associate the program with the .lst files. This is what
the registry is there for, to replace .ini files. However, some people are sensitive about registry entries
being left behind (or even being created in the first place).
Download this file and double-click it or use regedit's "File | Import"
to remove the entries from your registry.

| Amazingly simple but powerful organizational tool!!! I had a slight problem inserting columns, wrote to the author at midnight and had a response at 8 am!! Incredible!!! I initally envisioned using this tool to organize and maintain inventory in my pantry and freezer, but can now see dozen of uses for it! For this low tech computer moron, this is a must have!!! | Don't be fooled by its size. It does what it says. You can compile your data in a list form. For example, a book catalogue. Then you can sort according to author, title, date, etc. There is Print Preview and Find/Replace. Wow! (Posted to freewarefiles.com) |

| Just the ticket for creating lists when you can't be bothered with the complexities of a full-fledged spreadsheet program |
